| Getting Started With the Comparison View |
1. Select a geography type (top left select box):
U.S.
and States
2. Select a specific geography – once you selected a type, the specific pick lists are loaded here – choose an individual area or all of that type of geography (ex: Adams County or All Counties).
3. Select year(s) - one year or many (by clicking on each year while holding down the CTRL key.
4. Select month - one month (or annual average) or all months.
5. Select a data item - choose one of the four components of labor force estimates to view.
6. Click on the 'Get Data' button
- the data will appear in the bottom frame.
To Print: Click on the 'Print' button (under the 'Get Data' button). A print dialog window will appear. Follow the instructions on this window to make a printout. Be sure to use this, as we are using frames and you need to print the selected frame (the one with the data you want).
For Advanced Options: Click on the 'Advanced Options' link to access advanced options. Select this if you’d like to calculate percentages and determine what is sorted, the data or the percentage. For more help on advanced options see advanced options help on the advanced options menu.
