Using the Population Projections

These are the official population projections for the State of Indiana. Released in December 2007, they use the U.S. Census Bureau's 2005 population estimates as the benchmark population figures. Data for 2010 through 2040 are projections by the Indiana Business Research Center. Data for 2005 are estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, which were released in 2006. (Note: Unlike decennial population counts, annual estimates are subject to periodic revision. Therefore, the 2005 benchmark population reported here may differ somewhat from revised 2005 estimates published in later years.)
