These issues are critical to assessing the skills gaps in your region.
For many of these issues, we have prepared data specific to your region to
help speed the process of analysis. In some cases, information will need to

- Industries paying highest average weekly wages.
- Industries growing the fastest in terms of jobs, wages, and establishments.
- Industries projected to offer an increasing number of jobs.
- Industries in this region with a comparative advantage (location quotients).
- Industries which seem to be building toward a competitive advantage (shift-share).
- Which industries are positioned to capitalize on regional, national and/or
global trends?
- Which industries have been targeted by state or local economic developers
