Indiana Homestead Lookup

How to Search:
You can search for a homestead property either by owner name or property address. For owner name, use at least one letter of the first name and at least three letters of the last name. For property address, enter at least three characters in the street name, and at least 1 digit of the street number.

Helpful Hints:
Start with a broader search, as not all counties store the name and address information the same way. The information you enter will be searched against the start of the field and also the entire content.  For example, a search for "800" and "Main" for address could yield "800 Main St", "8001 E Main", "1800 W Main", etc. The same principles apply to searching by owner name. You can sort your list alphabetically by clicking any of the column labels.

Sorting:
On the results page, you can click on the column labels to sort alphabetically within that column.  For example, clicking on "County Name", will sort results alphabetically by county name.

Timeliness of the Data:
As of March 12, 2008, the database contains information from 85 counties that have submitted data for the 2006-pay-2007 tax year. The counties that are not yet available are: Brown, Clinton, Jasper, Porter, Posey, Vermillion, and White. Information for these counties will be included as they become available by the county.

Accuracy of the Data:

The information returned in the search appears exactly as it is reported from each county. As a result, some formatting and other inconsistencies may be present. If a figure appears incorrect or inaccurate, please contact the county auditor or assessor to verify its accuracy.
